Kick-off network meeting in January 2025
CCPP.network • Tuesday, December 3, 2024
AnnouncementThe first ccpp.network meeting takes place on January 16 and 17, 2025, at Witten/Herdecke University. The network members exchange their knowledge and perspectives from different disciplines in order to develop a common understanding. For example, members will give talks on their field of expertise that turn into discussions on how formal modeling can be employed:
- Interpersonal situation as a computational framework (Chris Hopwood, CH)
- Bayesian graphical networks for modeling perceptual inference in autism and psychosis (Anna-Lena Eckert, DE)
- Fitting the model to therapy vs. fitting therapy to the model? Some comments from an integrative psychodynamic perspective (Johannes Ehrenthal, DE)
- What assumptions do we make in computational psychiatry? (Alex Pike, UK)
Also, two international experts will give a talk on formal modeling in the computational social sciences (Prof. Dr. Andreas Flache; Agent-Based Modeling) and in computational psychiatry (Dr. Ryan Smith; Active Inference).
